If you’re looking for bright color, Diane Von Furstenburg never disappoints. Her Spring 2013 runway show at NY Fashion week was bursting with hues in color blocked form as well as her signature graphic prints.
Instead of the classic knit wrap dress, the designer used many variations on the wrap skirt. Instead of traditional, basic construction, there were ruffled wrap skirts, or pleated and folded versions of a wrapover.
Handbags featured contrast details or color bocked piecing to match the clothing. Clutches were highly constructed and varied box shapes. Larger satchels or carryalls also contained a lot of piecing.
